Origins Of Creation

Butter means flavor! The choice of butter is crucial to make delicious viennoiseries. Our viennoiseries are made with Beurre d'Isigny St-Mere AOP. It is a french butter made in accordance with traditions, and exclusively from the milks of Isigny terroir. We also source our Flour from Grands Moulins de Paris: the legendary French company has been milling flour from fields from all over France for more than 100 years. They grow and mill 100% French wheat without any preservatives, providing nearly 1/3 of the professional bakers in France with their premium flours.

A Family-Owned French Bakery Built On Tradition

Le Petit Four is led by Valérie Coullet, a French artisan and self-trained baker whose work is rooted in tradition and daily discipline. After a career in accountancy and organizational management, she chose to pursue baking fully, bringing her craft from France to the United States.

Her son, Romain Bernus, returned to join the business after working in tech, finance, and social media. Now a partner, he focuses on growing the brand while staying closely connected to the bakery’s day-to-day presence.

Together, they continue to build Le Petit Four as both a business and a family space, grounded in consistency, quality, and care.
